About me

I think I will start over again with this description. I really don’t want to describe my reality over and over again to you beautiful creatures individually, so I will explain the main aspects of my life right here instead. Please read all of it before deciding to respond with interest or a message. The photos in my profile are very recent and are from my daily walk along the Saskatchewan River with my dog Quinn. We spend at least a couple hours a day hiking, running, swimming and, in Quinn’s case, chasing deer, coyotes, beaver, birds and anything else we come across on our trek. I’ve developed a trail that is about four mile long and cuts through densely wooded areas, lush green meadows and when the river is low as it is now, three beautiful beaches along the way. It helps that the start of the trail is within walking distance of my house. If you love nature, animals and staying fit, you have my attention. When I’m not enjoying the great outdoors, I am caring for my wife who suffers from Huntington’s Disease. It is a hereditary brain disorder that destroys the body’s motor functions and causes dementia. She was diagnosed in 2003 and eventually was admitted to long term nursing care in 2009. Two years ago, in 2013, I hired a Filipina nurse as a live-in caregiver to help me care for her at home. To do this I stepped away from my business and turned it over to my son-in-law to manage.
