About me

I am looking for a serious long term relationship that hopeffully results in marriage. I am Honest and sincere, loyal and loving, Reliable. No lies, no games, no scams, no gambling. I have a good,, if often quirky, sense of humour. I do not smoke, but I do drink in moderation. I love to talk and listen equally. I have great empathy and care passionately about the people closest to me. Must emphasise I don't cheat and deceive, or make promises I can't or won't keep; and I never ever hit women! I am a writer by profession. Also write some poetry. I enjoy Fims, Music across a wide range: Rock, Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Folk, Pop Classical. I enjoy good books, travel, and exploring new places, Football (soccer) and am a season ticket holder at my local club, walking/rambling, motorsports, skiing. Love Dogs and horses. Hate reptiles. I collect Books, Blu Ray steelbooks ,Blu ray, DVD, CD,, Laserdiscs, Vinyl records, and Cornish Drip-Glaze pottery. Car and bike enthusiast - currently have 3 cars. Love good food: Scots,, English, French, Itaian, Indian, Mexican and Japanese (except sushi) Cannot possibly eat 'exotic' things like snake, rat, insects, dog, cat etc which I find disgusting. I have a long-standing interest in the history and cultures of Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan; primarily Japan, I confess, due to my upbringing.
