About me

Old but not dead yet. Moving to Thailand in the Fall. Will spend the first 6 months or so checking out the Northern provinces looking for a place to set down permanently. Not a fan of the bigger cities i.e. Bangkok and Pattaya for lifestyle although I would be interested in visiting. Not into partying and discos/nightclubs, not that I'm a prude or anything I've just done my time and aren't interested in it anymore. More interested in a relatively sedate lifestyle now, walks on the beach, camping, kayak/canoeing, mountains and streams. Looking forward to experiencing jungles. Snakes, monkeys exotic (for me) birds. All that good stuff. Looking for a travelling companion that can help me learn the Thai language and customs.
