About me

Visiting Chiang Mai (from New York) for some time while I check it out as a potential retirement location. I'd love to hang out with any local residents as friends (and of course open to any further developments if they happen naturally but no expectations in that direction). -------------------------------------------------- I'm an intelligent, athletic (but not muscular), slim, fit (Ironman triathlete), adventurous, well-travelled (worked and lived worldwide in earlier career), romantic, European professional who appreciates life and puts great emphasis on peace, tranquility, communication, love, trust and loyalty. I need to repeat those last four as there is simply no compromise when it comes to our both being on the same page regarding all four: communication, love, trust and loyalty. I enjoy hiking, cycling, triathlon, skiing and all water-sports but am not fanatical about any of these and they certainly don't consume my life. I do NOT watch any popular American sports but do follow Formula 1 motor-racing (not especially peaceful - like to attend an occasional GP) and Tour de France cycling. Of course, we all seek that elusive chemistry and, while personality is equally important, I believe having a partner in similarly good (maybe slim and/or fit) shape to my own will likely contribute to our own personal brand of mutual passion - but this is not a deal-breaker and certain personality combinations can without doubt more than compensate as a relationship blossoms!
