About me

I am 64 years old and live in Valley, Alabama, in the southeastern part of the United States. I am not a wealthy man, but I am rich in qualities that really matter, like character, kindness, consideration for other people, and love. I am also the kind of man who would love and accept you just the way you are. I am a sports journalist here, working for a small Christian university. So during the academic year I am very busy and involved from August through May. My title is Sports Information Director, and I handle all the media relations needs, statistics and publicity for the university’s 19 sports teams, and I write all of the stories and biographies and other articles on my university’s athletics web site. I have been doing this work for 29 years and also spent 13 years as an upper elementary grade school teacher and junior high school sports coach. On my vacations, I enjoy visiting a lot of America’s historical sites in Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, and wish I had someone who enjoys traveling as I do. I have never traveled to Asia, though. I also enjoy zoos, the Disney amusement parks in California and Florida, and baseball and basketball games, but also enjoy time at home watching movies and TV and spending time with someone special.
