About me

I feel blessed that most of my life I have been a very happy person. It is only recently that loneliness has seemed to hamper my life, as I generally see the best in everything and everyone. I am very fortunate in that I have seen lots of the world, but there is still so much of it I would like to see, just not alone. the passion of a good woman would make my life complete. I love to cook all types of food, and always help around the house. I am kind, compassionate, intelligent, funny (at least I think I am), curious, adventurous, and musically inclined. But I have my faults as well. I am very shy, except when I am performing on stage. I can be stubborn and opinionated, but have no shame in admitting when I am wrong. I am hopelessly romantic, yet very passionate. I have worked very hard for most of my life, but gave everything to my ex-wife so she could have an easier life. I am semi-retired, but spend a lot of time working for myself at home so I can give myself a more comfortable life. I love animals, nature, long walks, the stars, the beach, reading, most types of music, relaxing in the sun, science fiction, math, technology, children, movies, physics, some TV, white or milk chocolate but not dark, dark meat but not white (lol), good conversation and quiet tranquility, fresh fruit and vegetables, tea but not coffee... and yes, I love Asian food. I believe communication is the most important thing in building a strong relationship, much as a good foundation is key...
